let's not forget the type-s head to get that 450 whp

 

I'm curious why someone would not spend all the money on like, something that is already fast. I mean, yeah, that's neat to build up a motor and make it fast, but I only see that as worth it if you can't afford to buy an already fast/nice car. With the money spent on all that stuff he could have done something much different I'd say.

Guess that's just what people like.

My thoughts exactly. At this point he'd be over 500whp and barely breaking a sweat. It's a bit bigger car though.

Traction is a major issue with the RSX to begin with, the turbo RSX is a monster from a roll though. There is someone who I know personally that is putting 400 to the wheels running 22 psi here at the beach. As far as a supra..... how played out is that?

I think his goals for 450 off of switching his head to the k20a2 head and an exhaust are a bit far fetched. I don't know what all he has done though, so I could be wrong.
I would say somewhere around 400 depending on how well it is tuned.

Supra's are played out? Yeah, because they're everywhere right? RSX's and 240's and WRX's and Civics aren't played out, so we should all be happy we drive them instead of Supra's and FD's..etc.

I bet you do with that AWD.... I never said anything about racing though, all I said was the car is a monster from a roll. The fastest RSX right now is a guy in NC who ran an 11.9 and that is a setup that is somewhere close to 400hp.

 

I didn't mean has how many of them are on the road, I meant as far as being a highly tuned car. Everyone takes a supra and turns it into a 600 to 800 hp dyno queen. How many high horsepower turbo RSX's have you seen running around right now. Give it 3 years and it will be a different story though. As far as mine I am just looking to hit between 250-300 whp all motor.
