I've HAD it happen 
I don't have the money to blow like I used to. I wrote a check to put half down on my car, and in addition to that and everything else I've put into my car to keep it running, I have $5k+ in my drivetrain. Never going to see that money again......... and never going to spend that kind of money on a car again.
