So, thats where this came from. Hell, I guess that would make me guilty by association. To be honest, the only thing I heard about you was that you'd probably put it in the wall if you ever raced it. Hell, you've heard that for months now, so I don't know why that would upset you. Only thing I asked about you was if the car was running yet. I didn't get an answer by the way.
What you're not understanding is that nobody but yourself is dragging anything out. You say that everyone else needs to drop it. Dex, trust me, nobody sits and worries about it. People are going to run their mouth whether it runs high 6's or low 11's. I speak from experience. People talk shit, including yourself, so don't take it so personal. I'll be the first to say congrats if you come out and back up all the hype you've built up. I'll also be the first to say you shouldn't run your mouth before the car has made any passes.
You also say that everyone wanted you to come up there. But that isn't you. If you put all that work into it, why not show it off. Or are you worried that you might be asked to race? Exactly how would driving it up there be showing anyone up? Kinda confused on that one.

No, I didn't even know about that, but that doesn't upset me. I have heard that for a long time. Everybody thinks since I wrecked the other RX-7 I can't drive. They don't even know what happened. I don't see how anybody could have controlled my wreck. But anyway, I know I shouldn't have talked before, but I just couldn't hold myself back. Anyway, I would like to show it off, but I don't know if I would be able to stand it with people talking shit. I cannot drive this car yet, and would not race and could not race. Then everybody would talk more shit. You pegged that one. Driving it up there would show everyone I did, even though lots of people made fun of me saying I couldn't.

When I first read your posts I was thinking of an FC with non-existant clearcoat, and a bit beat up, but I must say it is in very good looking shape!
I personally think you should keep it honestly.. It's one of those things that you will regret when you get older I bet. Keep it, have some fun with it, and hold on to it. If you want to go to school, which is a great idea, maybe work full time for a while to get back some money?
Money isn't the issue, it comes and goes, but all the hard work you probably put into the car, I don't think you wanna just throw it out the window!

Yeah is it just me... or does everything about FC's fail? Interior was made out of crappy material, any rubber on them is usually rotted, and they get random rust...

I think I might keep the car for now. And my interior is actually ok, 150K miles...But everything else sucks.

I've got some body parts you can have as spares if you want... i'm just going to trash them eventually. I think there's a steel hood, couple of s4 fenders, maybe an s4 door, and a couple sets of s4 taillights just sitting around, among other crap. I dunno if they'd be worth the trouble for you or not, it's all been sitting outside for about a year, but it was all in "okay" shape when put there. I don't mess with cars anymore.
