What are the fast cars these days? Corsica? Astro mini van?
I remember, years ago, there used to be a real street racing scene in Roanoke. It was actually a pretty tight knit group, as some of the locals can attest to. My loss of interest towards it came when "The Fast & The Furious" came out, and you started seeing new faces popping up driving mommy and daddys Camry or Corolla trying to race someone. More idiots, more fights, more drama, etc.... You guys can have that trash! I think for me it's a combination of the fact that I grew up quite a bit and realized what the real life consequences of everything amounted up to be, and the crowd changed dramatically. Stay at home. You're better off.

Well said. What I never understood was that if anyone was going to race there was always a circus show leading the racers or following the racers. Peeling out all in lines following each other. It's screaming to the cops theres going to be a race. I have left many of them through the years because the line was full of idiots wanting to watch but didn't know how to not be a ass while on the way.

Damn yall i didnt think it was all that bad.lol. Yeah there was alot of Ricers but you gotta understand in Radford your lucky to see a nice ride if you go out lol atleast there is some clean rides cruisin around there. But alot of rice also.
What is our world comming to?
When I hear 'hes got one clean ride' im thinkin something along the lines of a rare, unique car that you dont see everyday - that cant be said about many tegs, civics, etc. S2000's maybe, but they're still everywhere. Ohwell, just my personal opinion.
You really dont see many head turners around that area - im talkin highly modded STi's, Evos, M3/M5s, Supras, RX7s, Modded Volvos/Audis, etc. That area usually doesnt attract that type of croud unfortunately - then again most the guys driving those cars are older and not in that 'scene' so to speak or are just to cocky to stop and talk to some genuine enthusiasts.
