The car is a show car. trailer queen. HP is just for points and bragging online. Too much money in that car to take a chance of fucking it up at the track.

There are a shitload of Zs ruuning 11s. Many running low 11s. Some have hit 10s. And 2 in the 6s and 7s. There will be more in the lower time ranges in the next year, tons of people are starting to make insane power.

 

For the whp you have and the torque curve, I would say a 10 second pass would be "good". Personally, I have never seen a 300z with the amount of power yours makes at the track, but the quickest one I have seen was running 13.0-13.1 on street tires. I know that there are quicker ones out there but that is the quickest I have witnessed. I also understand that just because you put "big" numbers down at the dyno doesn't mean that the car will make it quickly down the 1/4 mile either. Like I said, it would be interesting to see how the car/driver reacted at the track. I am just curious that's all.

 

dood.. chill... he just got the car back not too long ago. i don't know about you, but down here, we don't really go to the drag strip every week. and especially not as soon as we put something new into our cars. we just go when we can. also, if i had to wait 10+ months to get my car back, i would just be happy to have the car back and just enjoy it. i'm sure he is. the car will be taken to the track when possible.
