Yea i believe the evo pulled a 13.08 in the latest motor trend mag.
The MSRP is $30,812 I believe, with a dealer markup of 5 grand, probably just because of the cars enthusiast background, but im sure that will die off as more of them come out.
The Evo 8 comes with a Twin scroll td05-16g stock, meaning a small 16g with dual turbine inlets. It puts out 19psi stock by 3500, and dies off to about 16.24psi by 6500 (choked off im sure). The stock compression is 8.8:1. The power to displacement ratio of the evo is better than any other car in this hemisphere
. I believe the evo's are dynoing around 250awhp stock, from their 271 rated crank hp. If the STi has any sort of drivetrain loss like the 227hp wrx had (167awhp or so?) then I have a feeling the numbers will be much more close than most people think. The brakes of the evo are absolutely rediculous, and its 60-0 time is 110ft, beating many of the exotics out there. The evo pulls a .96g on the 200ft skidpad stock. The rear wing on both of the models I saw was made of carbon fiber, and was a 480 dollar option from the factory. The seats were absolutely amazing, and by far the best stock seats I've seen on a car. It does have a FMIC, which I'm sure cools great, but for a car that comes this potent from the box, I have heard the FMIC will become inefficient later on, very quickly, from people who have already began modding them. The backseats of the evo were also rediculously roomy, just like any 4 door car should be, not just a joke like every other car we usually drive. The wheels are 17" Enkei's stock, and have a BBS style 17" enkei option from the factory as well. The stock tires I believe are advan 225/45/17's. The brakes are 12.2" 4pot Brembo's in the front, and like 11.7" 2pot brembos in the rear. I have also heard from someone that the stock lancer tails (the normal red tails) will swap into the evo, so you can ditch the altezza style if you dont like them, although I havent personally read anything on it. I believe it was Brian that said this.
So for 30k not a bad car at all. Theres the stupid dealer markup but that I'm sure will die off just like the other cars that have come out lately with a hype around them.

As I was doing my 45 minute inspection of the car and talking to the dealer, he also told me it had the ACD by the way, to which I told him it very much did not

If this is the newest issue of C&D, I apoligize in advance because I haven't gotten mine yet. Damn campus mail is so slow. They better forward it if it doesn't come by Wednesday.
