Checked out a few evo 8's today at the dealership. I was very impressed actually. In person for some reason the car doesnt look so ugly, in fact it doesnt seem ugly at all, but in all the pictures ive ever seen it looks weird. The interior is very well done, and unbelievably spacious. Looking at everything on the car you can see quite a few bits of good engineering that took place with this car, and I have to say I was very impressed. I will be going back probably for a test drive, then I'll really let you know what I feel .

 

Ran a 13.08 new and stock in Motor Trend this month

Yea heh, it was definately at duncan mitsubishi. Me and my roommate took a friend up there to pick up his car, and I just went cause I wanted to see where the mitsu dealership was located at since I have never been, and right as you pull up there is an electron blue colored one sitting right up in the air on a big lift. Then they also have a silver one inside on the showroom.

 

I saw an Evolution in a parking lot while I was in Richmond over Easter weekend. I always thought they looked weird in pictures too, but this thing looked amazing in person. It was also blue. I like 'em, but Mitsubishi isn't exactly the best company to get a car from right now. But I figure they'll turn things around soon, like Nissan did (is doing). Kinda funny that they introduced their rally car in the US in the year that they aren't even competing in the WRC.

 

the new evos are incredible probably one of the best cars for the money out for performance anyway. I would love to get one, maybe after graduation. Anyway, let me know if you go test drive one I'd be interested in what you thought.

how much are they running for off the lot? and what are the soecs on it? is it a turbocharged 4 banger? or a v6? ihavent heard much abotu them let me know what the big hype is bout

 

Chris, where is this dealer? I was thinking it was next to the mazda dealer on 460, but they switched that to Jeep now.

Well they are about $30k its an awd turbo 4 "banger". Comes with stock front mount and a nice size turbo. Not sure on the exact specs but i think 1/4 mile is right around 13 flat.
