Pipe Bending
Not sure. Their web site used to be www.atrperformance.com but it doesn't seem to be there any more. Best bet is to Google them. They were really big in the Buick Grand National scene...

a downpipe period is the power maker, it dont matter if it has a cutout or not. q times just wind up sticking and leaking anyway, i dont care how much they say they have refined the design.
for a few months, i ran the stock catback behind a downpipe, and had no difference in power. it had a nice growl too.

On a Subaru, the cat-back is the last thing you change. Changing from stock cat-back to an after-market one is worth maybe 5 hp. The downpipe is where it's at. And, I wouldn't get a cutout. You don't need it.

No problems with the cutout in 2 years so far, but different brand, mccord power plate.
Maybe wrx's are the exception, but my fiance's car made 10 whp (peaked at 15 whp for 750 rpm or so at the top) more throughout the entire curve basically, on the dyno in salem with the cutout open, and its a non turbo 6g72. It was hard to tell any difference on the street, especially when you are "concentrating" on the frickin noise..
