thats not anything to brag about , getting on of those to break 7s doesnt take alot compared to other cars

8.12 I think was the best it ran. But, it had a bigger turbo than mine, and mine ran 8.02. It was capable of 7's, but as far as I know it never got tuned correctly. It wasn't holding boost up high last time I saw it run.

It shouldn't take a lot to make a Z28, Mustang GT/Cobra, etc run 7's in the 1/8th either supposedly but if you hang out at Natural Bridge or any other 1/8th mile track, how many cars actually do run 8.0 or better? Not many when I've been there. I remember Steve Mitchums mildly modded auto Z28 running like a 9.1 or 9.2 in the 1/8th at Piedmont a few years back.. 9.1 is pretty pathetic in my opinion. The LT1 Z28's are what.. 5.7L's? RWD. Automatic = consistent, not always necessary "slow"

You have a pretty lengthy list of modifications on your GT. What's your best time on the 1/8th?
