First off
When did I say I was going to use a HX or HY turbo?
2nd...
The Holset HX series turbo range in power output from about 150-1200HP jackass. The HX40 V8Brick was talkin about can support up to 400HP.
Guess I should run twins try and push around 800HP on a stock motor
And finally..
So its gay to use twins that came off a 2.3 or 2.5 on a 5.0? Do you understand that a 2.3 and 2.5 are half the displacement of a 5.0 and have a single turbo factory so how is using twice the turbo on twice the displacement gay..... I guess maybe you should call Ford and Dodge and tell there setup is "gay" and they are a "pussy" for not using a big enough turbo on their cars. The most common JY setup for a 5.0 is twin T3's off a 2.3 turbocoupe...

yes...i know what the most common JY setup is on a mustang, i have been a member of turboford and turbo mustangs for about a year and half. the HX35 is the largest turbo that dodge offered on the B series in the pickups, however, the holsets that are larger that are usually on the B series in straight trucks is a HX40 or 45 if i recall.
and yes, i have said before that dodge and ford both put too small of a turbo on their cars from the factory. i have owned several turbo dodges, a Daytona Z, a shadow, and was getting ready to do a Super 60 in a Kwagon till that car got wrecked.
in my own opinion, it isnt worth turboing with those small turbos, but they do give a good power increase over just normal bolt ons. i am not a fan of boosting something just to say its boosted, if you aint pushing 14psi, its not worth it to me. of course, a stock 5oh wont take that, it will pop a head gasket six ways to sunday, or will crack the block down the middle.
i never said that you said you were gonna run a holset to begin with, i was merely pointing out that there are guys running that turbo on an engine half the size....take a deep breath and breathe man.
twins on a large frame turbo is pointless unless you are running some hella CID, cause the lag would be terrible.
the pussy comment was directed at brandon, i figured he would have some form of sarcastic comeback to it.
hence the
at the end of that comment......
calm down.....breathe.....dont take someones comments so seriously man.
