Ok guys here is the situation. I have not had my car a year yet and I already put 17500 miles on it. I have a 40 mile round trip to work every day plus all the other running I do and gas is 1.99 a gallon now so I want a daily beater. I am looking for a 2dr Geo Metro for a good price. It does not have to look great but I would proffer the car be all one color. The only thing that really maters is that it runs well.

If any one has any other suggestions of a cheap car that gets insane gas mileage I am up for suggestions.

I have had mine since December of 02 and have 40k on it....

 

but he drives a neon...and those things just don't like high mileage

The main reason I want it is for the gas mileage b/c $50+ a week for gas aint cutting it.

i feel ya on that one..i drive about 35 miles round trip a day to work..down a dusty dirt rd..my cars only a 2000 and ive got 97k on it im trying to find a cheap POS too..hondas are good on gas mileage no matter what people think about htem

 

Look in the classifieds there are some cheap beaters in there.

 

I have had my eaxctly one year and it has 32k on it!

 

you will probably start modding the metro to... lmfao!
