I may bring the civic over this Thursday, and I'll be there pretty much every Thursday after that, since I'm moving my business over to the airport

 

New London is between Bedford and Lynchburg just off 460, turn at the Sheets/Exxon/Food Lion intersection and it's down about 2 miles. It takes me about an hour and a half to get there from Radford, so it's about 40 min from Roanoke.

 

Is it a decent strip? How does it compare to NB or Shelor?

what are the prices?

 

I usually run a bit faster at new london than NB, and it's about on par with NB as far as the facility, the Shelor track is (obviously) newer/nicer, not sure how the times compare. I think it's $15 on thursdays, but I honestly don't know since I get in free..

 

i think its $10 to get it $15 to run..i will find out for sure tomorrow. i've never been to the track or anything but its the air strip or something from what i have heard

 

ITS AN AIRSTRIP IT IS FAIR...I DONT THINK IT IS AS GOOD AS NB...SOME OF US FROM BILLY CRAFT R GOING...AS FAR AS I KNOW...

 

Yeah have to say that NB is a little better.......you have to pit your car and walk to get your ticket PLUS you have to bring your own water to the "burn out" box. Of course I guess if you don't have slicks it doesnt matter.
