Long But Please Read
He didn't get to run at the track. I was going to go with him up there but the plugs had to be replaced and the car still isn't running right. After he raced the cobra (the second time) the car was struggling to idle and at low rpm's the whole car was shaking from the engine vibrating so bad. Rotorsownyou7 had this happen to him when his engine blew in his TT so who knows what could be wrong with it now. Good luck Blake on getting this one fixed.
sounds like what my car did when the belt slipped off the water pump under 22 psi...it cracked the head gasket in 6 places... and when we took the head off i had a puddle of oil sitting on top of the #3 piston
After the plugs were changed it got a little better but now it is running a lot richer. It is running all 9's on leading and trailing rotors and rotorsports said to change it up to 9 on leading and 7 on trailing (or the other way around i forgot) and see how it does then. I really hope it is not blown after the first day he drives it around on a single turbo. A compression check should be done soon (very soon) to see what it pulls.
Changing all the plugs AGAIN today, up dates on hows it running later.... and Silvcobra, good run. A win is a win and a lose is a lose. But, i hope to get the car running right by this weekend, maybe we can try again. You do have to remember, that was the first time i have raced my car in 8 weeks. And that was the 2nd day after i had got it back, but im not going to be a sore loser, good run, and you have a really quick car.
