Ok so I have the car in the garage.. we lifted it up with the ebrake off.. well it's the main wheel so it's not going to turn with it in gear... but I can move it a little bit back and forth and you can hear a noise but it's like you can hear it at the axle and all the way to almost the front of the car.. I'm thinking this is normal but then again I've never lifted a car and played with the wheel...

Do I have to take the car out of gear to see if the wheel barring is bad? If so then I have to put the other side on jack stands..don't want it rolling through the garage door.. that would suck..
