Being fukin cheap is owning a generic supra and not wanting to get it professionally fixed/by someone you know.
I'm 20, I work full time and go to ODU full time- but the last thing I have is money falling out my ass.

let someone **PROFESSIONAL** look at it, and do the work too...being cheap is defined as having someone who really hasnt had alot of experience with that style setup do teh work...usually damages more then they fix..
not that i know anyone like that....

And I own a supra because I pay monthly on it.. I'm not cheap i'm BROKE. If I had the money i'd be living at a place with a garage where I could look at it myself or with a friend.
If I was so cheap I wouldn't have high priced shit on that car when I did the tune up.
$40-$80 to diagnose a problem really isn't bad at all. Remember, you're paying for labor, not for the job. The 2 hours that the mechanic spends diagnosing your problem is still two hours of his/her day, and that costs money. I've had some mechanics wave that fee if you let them fix the problem, but it's not a given. Just be lucky you don't have to deal with mechanics that want $85/hour at the minimum
I have a make shift lift and my dad has all the tools and knowledge that 40 years being into cars brings....And hey he works on turbos.....Even though it is turbos on Semi trucks LOL. And I am close. My dad won't FIX the problem for you but he'd HELP you do it. You want to learn about cars and such? Then have someone who knows what they're doing HELP you and not do it for you. Not trying to sound like an ass it's just my .02$
