How to obtain and CDL?
BTW, I don't think you need to be behind the wheel of a big rig... I'm going to write the governor to let him know that. You have enough trouble operating a compact car without having an accident
Btw I have been accident free for awhile.... I need an CDL to drive larger utility trucks...I drive an F450 dually diesel bucket truck pretty well I have backed up in places everyone else is scared to and made it..
It's like second Nature...trust your mirrors and your judgment

you need to go and get your CDL learners and have it for six months before you can apply for any class of CDL.
get the learners, and then drive bigger trucks with a licensed CDL driver. then you go and take the road test and written test at the DMV.
if you are going for a class B, you can drive a straight truck with airbrakes. if going for a Class A, you have to drive a tractor with a trailer, or a dump truck with a trailer and airbrakes.
you have to provide a truck for the test, DMV does not.

then you will either need to get a job with a company that requires a CDL and can provide you with the training, join the military, or go to a truck school.
or suck off a trucker at the TA parking lot, just make sure to dress like a lot lizard lol.
