Ok, on DSMtalk, one of the big DSM forums, there was this guy named Infury, who had something like 900+ posts, and had about 6 cars in his sig that he supposedly owned, all of which were 40k+ cars such as a new M3 etc. He would post about them and post pics, and post about his "problems" with them etc. Recently someone found out that he was posting pics of other people's cars, and some of the pics had discrepencies such as in one pic the car would have a sunroof and in another it wouldnt. So they called him out, and needless to say the guy limped away never to be heard from again.

Well I was looking the forum today in the lounge section and there was a post about "Have I possibly spotted infury?", so I clicked on it and read about it to see what was up. Well apparently someone was on an RX8 forum and found a guy with a nice list of cars that he owned, and they figured it was BS as the cars named with all very high end exotics. Lots of people were already raising the BS flag, and some were trying to register on the forum just to call the guy out and possibly see if it was him. I read on, to find out that this guy was located in Blacksburg, then I began listening to the cars that this guy supposedly owned....911 Turbo, NSX, Evo, etc etc. Suddenly I realized exactly who it was, and I'm sure you guys know too. I just thought it was funny that all these guys were looking at this unbelievable car list, thinking that no one could possibly own all those, and here I was the only one who could definitively answer "God damnit he's legit, I've seen the stupid things."

I just thought you guys might get a kick outta hearing that. Thats my stupid story for the day.

holy crap.

internet personalites are an intresting phenomenon. without the phsyical attributes of real life human interaction, ones self perception can differ by enormous amounts without having a real face to put on those words you type. the reason why they are so quick to judge is because they can hide behind their monitors and keyboards without a hint of respobililties for their words while in real life, the responsbility that we attribute to our actions inhibit our behavoir. its a mistake we all come to witness if you spend more time on the internet.

 

yeah..he now has a niiice M3....we put tires on it yesterday. he sold the EVO because it had "cheesy interior" and no cruise control......damn must be nice

dang.. he's had the evo for like what? 3 months?? and now he gets the m3.. i wish i had that kinda money...

edit: i think it's even fucking funnier that NONE of those retards on DSMtalk will believe you that this guy is for real.... i wonder what it would take for those guys to believe you... you just keep on telling them it's for real, but they just come up with excuses to NOT believe you... wtf... maybe they'd like to see every invoice for all the cars? oh wait.. no... that's photoshopped! ugh... that guy with the fnf sig is retarded...

 

actually..he had the EVO for a little over a month. his tags were on it for a week when he sold it...for top dollar, i might add.....and bought the M3. he is real nice, too. i have worked on the M3, seen the EVO, seen the 911 twin, the NSX, and he has a few others too..........fuckit! i know they are real.....if they dont, they can suck my ass......
