Ford fucked once more!!
En-route to work all of a sudden i get grinding and all kinds of sound from my tranny....come to find out my ECU just all of a sudden went "fuck you" and the data just out of no were purges it's self from the ECU..Plus to find out...all 4 rotors are out of round...cheap fix..my guy will do them for 60 flat...the ecu & tranny remap was 62 bucks.....Now...the DPFE sensor and the EGR Ports are going to be 280
Joey how much can you get these parts for.....or how much installed
sounds to me like you should really consider getting reliable transportation, like the ZX6R I've got for sale.... maybe you've got something worthwhile to throw in as a partial trade so you don't have to take out such a big loan

snatch the throttle body off and clean the port first, before changing the DPFE.
most of the time, the port is fucked (ie, solid caked with carbon) and will set a DPFE code also.
what codes?

Dennis is a good guy. I was the Parts Manager at Vinton Motors and worked with him for a while. If it ends up being the DPFE just get the part and do it yourself it takes like 5 minutes to do, but deff clean out the TB and the IAC. Just a little but if carbon screws up those things.
Ive heard abunch of there guys say that Lucas Oil Stabilzer is good...is this true because i got a bottle be never used it...
Also they told me to run "Seafoam" gas treatment....so thats going in my car when i top it off....
Rotors are getting turned next week
and the MAF and EGR will come when i can afford it *was in the middle of paying for class when this shit happend*
Also does anyone known don....or as we called him "the great bald one" used to work for Vinton motors i do belive ??
