Sorry again, but unless the radar operator is an idiot (and im not ruling that out) there are very few instances where a radar will give a wrong speed thats high, this is one reason why it is used so much and is rarely questioned by a judge.

+ Some of the cops here run around using radars without they're cert. I believe they have to go to a school and be trained in how to use the radar gun and get certified before they can start writting out speeding tickets, and some of the guys here I know, do that.
and yea do let the judge know that you've changed, I do agree with that statement.
+ I know you guys don't know me but how many 4cyl turbos do you know can do 50 in 2nd gear at 3,000rpm or under. I was watching my limit, lord knows I was not doing 50, I was going 45 (1,800rpm in 5th gear) the whole way to school, this old lady was in my way doing like 15mph (not sure, cause I had no speedometer) and I had to drop down to 2nd gear to slow down enough. Reading this, I wonder if any of you agree or are about to start flaming me.
flaming...possible.
my big issue with people that bitch about cops is that they are looking for a easy way out. that and going on a forum somewhere and bragging about how you got out of a ticket where you were clearly doing something illegal, and then telling others how to do it, or cheat the system, really irritates me.
my theory is that if you do something and get away with it.....the less others know is better. always remember the circle of things.....what you do will come back to ya....guaranteed!

I guess I could not really show anything about radars not being perfect in my previous post, judges wouldn't even look one time at a statement like mine above.

ok. just tryin to help a guy from getting his liscense suspended. I'd want ALL the help I could get to get out of it.
anyways I'm through with this thread.
If you ask the officer if he locked his radar(I beleive thats the term). You're scotch free. He could have clocked someone else doing that speed and decide to pin it on you. Well this is what I heard through the grape vine. Haven't used the technique, haven't had to. Only tickets I've gotten were, unsafe lane change(signal was out on Williamson and the cop was being a dick, they usually are there), wreckless driving in a parking lot(The people at S&J said it was perfectly legal to do burnouts if you're on private property, obviously not, dumbasses), and I just got a speeding ticket for 68 in a 55(Me and my dad calculated that my speedo is off 8mph cause of the rims I have on it, so I was still going 60 so I'm not gonna try and fight it, just lower my head and pay the fine). If it wasn't you're fault, fight it, if it was, bend over and take it in the ass like a real man.

It's too late for this guy,
But do not speed through woodstock. It is that simple. You will get pulled over and ticketed for the speeding violation and anything else they can come up.
Luckily the judge is a good guy and if it is your first time or if you've got a good story or any mitigitating factors he'll take them into account and not try and screw you over like the state troopers do.
