who drove the old school teg, I was proud of that lil car, and the fiero w/the ls"1" was nice too.. anyone get the history on that car?

 

that old school teg with those c48s was nice, seemed like a nice guy too. didnt find out the history on the ferio but that thing sounded awesome

 

My favorite would have had to have been the completely stock WRX that got mid 50's. Pretty good driver..

as i recall thats wrx has a catback and r-comps...as well as springs...

the 323 was cool...didn't get to see him as i was in the same class

Anybody else find themselves asking why/how a neon could run so fast? the trailored white neon that was in DSP... that thing hauls

That was a different WRX.. there were literally 10-15 there probably..

This one was completely stock, copperish red color, scratched up front bumper.

The neon was clearly a purpose built car, I don't see why you would be so suprised.. It was probably an R/T.

 

I dont know why that neon was so fast but I know one thing for sure, it was setup just right for autocross .. application specific car

 

oh don't get me wrong..i wasn't expecting the neon to be slow...i've seen it run 3 times now...its def. a well built machine...i really love watching it..my comment was directed towards neon's in general especially that generation.

I hadn't realized the red wrx was completely stock...in which case...WOW....one helluva driver there....

 

The black 87 Pontiac Fiero is a local. He and his Dad built the car - several times.
