indies are the only way to go, IMO.

sounds like you need a better tune.. were both surfaces prepped properly and the gasket sprayed? did you torque the studs down enough? which copper gasket did you have?

A metal head gasket blows for a reason. Either bad tune, bad surface, or improper torque, or some random mishap which caused enough detonation to lift the head and destroy the seal.

That's a bit subjective. I'd say "too much boost" falls into the incorrect tune category. pump gas can go far with the right tune.

i was able to run around 24psi with little to no knock, so im pretty sure it wasn't that. i agree that i need to take it to the dyon to have it pro tuned( not to mention i just want to know what it will do. i have a few bugs to work out 1st before that happens. soon tho. i have a feeling that it was the torque was wrong when i 1st put it on. i also never retorqued it after a heat cycle. no biggie, i have the motor out anyways and im changing a few things so this is the perfect time to do it. if it ran that good on a shit hg i cant wait to see what it wil do with one that actualy seals. still waiting on the call from shep for them to tell me what exactly i did to the tranny. all i know is teeth came out when i draned the fluid haha.
