Who's running Mazdadrivers @ VIR March 26-27th?
I got to most of the MazdaDrivers events. They are open to all cars. I would say about 50% of the cars are Mazdas and 50% are other cars. Some of the 3rd gen RX7's are awesomely fast. I run a slow old first gen, but I have a great time. I probably spend less than anyone else and have as much fun. I love the nimble lightweight first gen RX7, and just don't have that much desire for excessive straight speeds. Not that I haven't done it, as I used to SCCA race some very fast cars, but straightaway speed is just not where I get my thrills.
More power to the first gens. Ive done mostly autoX and a open day at summit point.
roadRacer - I have an 84 GSL-SE and am wondering how hard is it to pass tech. I believe my car should pass but I dont want to get down there only to fail for something I didnt ever think of.

So if you're not sure about something on your car passing tech... replace it beforehand just to be safe

I'm going. There are about 4 or 5 Evo's coming down from the DCEvo club. Looks like 2 VIII's, a VI TME, and 1 or 2 MR's. I will be in the novice category as this is my first event. The pre-inspections are at the MDA HQ at the Comfort Inn on Fri night.

I am getting new brakes sometime this month. I am keeping the Brembo calipers, but everything else is getting upgraded.
