Yeah, I would of thought it would be more, but it wasn't. It was like 30 cars in novice and 30 in intermediate, so those groups got to run with a lot of cars. The higher groups had like 20-25.

The pass thing was my idea. Henry was taking it easy around the track, since it was his first time, so I thought I'd help him and the other driver's out.

Registration opened last November so this years, so I wouldn't expect a location until end of summer/early fall. Wherever it is, I'm going, and I'm racing, no watching this time.

I don't forsee myself driving across the country, though. If it's at home (Infineon, Sonoma, CA), I'm probably in. I can stay with family. LOL

I'm definitely not going across the country. They need to have it at VIR again.

There was a lot more people. There where 4 groups, instructor, advanced, intermediate, and novice(me).

My car wasnt running the way it should be, but it still did very well. Like Chris(elaum) said, I was taking it easy. I seen 2 guys spin out infront of me. Plus I had street tires.
There were a few guys in novice that were better then me so thats why I had the "pass" sign
I believe I was the only Turbo ITR there. I seen a few boosted guys there, but not an ITR. I was catching up on the straights, but not trying to over do it.
I was black flaged for blowing fire out the exhaust hahaha! I told the pit crew there wasn't anything I could do about it because of it running a bit rich for cooler temps. Plus, in the classroom session. They warned people to stay atleast 3-7 lenths behind untill given the signal to pass, so I dont feel so bad
If the Expo next year is less then 15hrs away I will be going. This time with more experience.

I've never managed to make it to one of these. I'm going next year, whether I have another one or not.

it will be in the midwest or west coast. they try to even it out, and since this was the 2nd time it was at VIR i doubt it will be there again..But yeah that was a small number racing, when it first started out, there was a lot of Rs to come out, but it gets smaller by the year. That over the past couple years they thought about scrapping it. So really even if its across the country, you should take the trip almost. I mean people from the left coast came out here, and how fun would it to be to race in cali..

did it really start in cali????? the guy who started the whole thing is from TN lol
