The one we have is a stock 5.0 w/ all the BS removed, electric fan, K&N intake, FMS shorty headers and side pipes so it makes about 250-260 crank HP (225 is stock), and probably a good bit over 300 ft/lbs (stock is 290 I think). The car is 2500lbs, but may be a few less after I put my ultrashields in it.

The GTS GT2 race cars have 5.8 carb'd crate motors making 450ish crank HP and the GTWC cars have the 4.6 DOCH making 320ish crank.
Haha... this time I'm driving a full on race car... no more compromise car... no more worrying about the paint on the Z06 Means I will start driving at more than 7/10ths.
I know... it should be fun... nobody be shy... come up and say hello if I don't know you. My whole family will be there cooking out etc.
We'll see... I've never driven it at speed and will be feeling it out and dialing in the suspension.

 

Jon when do you think registration will open up for VIR March 28- 30?

 

I am not Jon but I would say they will open in probably 3 weeks.
