Default Stupid question.

haven't been autox'ing in probably 2 years, i had a blast when i used to though, i'd like to get my dad's beemer out there, see what its like in a car that actually handles, not in my del sol whose suspension mods probably make it handle worse

anyways, would a bike be allowed at any autox? i think it would be too dangerous, if you lose control of a car you just spin or whatever, but if you did on the bike it would go sliding or ghost riding off into a person possibly, and most autox parking lots although perfect for cars are a little too dirty to safely get down on a bike... but any idea if it would be allowed at all? more out of curiousity than actually wanting to run it, would be kinda fun though

i doubt any self-respecting CAR club would allow a bike to run on an autox course...

but of course, they may make an exception if you ask very nicely.

I don't know if the local clubs' insurance covers them with a bike on course.

I know odr-scca wouldn't allow bikes at pungo...I've never heard of any other club doing it either. Check out their site and get the phone numbers and make some calls...It can't hurt...

Yeah, the car clubs insurance will not cover bikes on the course. That is just the way it is. They could probably get it, but it would not be worth if unless you were putting on a bike event.
