Talking another newbie

any of you out there run a mustang and can give me suggestions on a good setup? also does any one know when there will be when coming up in va beach or near by. thanks

Yeah, Mustangs are my life. I have autocrossed one of every generation from 64-1/2 to current more or less.... What is the current configuration of your car, and what year car do you have. I can guide you and keep you within rules. If you car is stockish, basically run about 40-45 psi air preassure in the front tires. Dial in as much negative camber as possible, set it up with about 1/8" toe OUT in the alignment. Set up the clutches in the diff as tight as possible, run shocks really really good shocks, and have fun. If you run the Kumho V700, V710's or the Hoosier and learn how to drive you can be competitive at the local level. These are applicable with any Mustang 85 or later. If you have a car earlier than that, I have different techniques than these. Let me know.

If you plans are beyons stock... then I can guide you in either Street Prepared or Prepared. The next event is Feb 8th at Pungo... There is another thread about pre-registering...
