SM for 2005??????
Anyone interested in a decent SM car. This belongs to a friend of mine. I think it is a great deal myself.
------------------------------------------------------------
I'd really like to sell the car
before the cold weather gets here. I'm currently asking $8k for the car,
and would consider a trade for a clean sedan.
I've decided to sell my Turbo Miata. The main reason for selling is
that the new motorcycle I bought in October has taken over as my
primary toy. Lately I'm not driving the car enough to justify
owning it. Many of you know the car, it used to belong to Matt
Andrews. For those that don't know the car, here are the specifics:
1994 Miata, Red with Black/Grey cloth interior
81k miles
Amsoil 10w30 with Amsoil filter
Power windows, mirrors and steering.
Cruise control, CD/cassette. (CD player is not working, radio still works
fine)
Limited-slip diff.
Hard top
Factory mud flaps, painted red
Flyin' Miata FMII Turbo system as seen at
http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...t&sku=01-22300
Flyin' Miata turbo dual exhaust
ACT Clutch
External oil cooler
Remote oil filter mount
Copper dual core radiator
Hard dog hard core hard top double-diagonal roll bar (HDHCHTDD?)
KYB AGX 8-way adjustable shocks
Racing Beat hollow sway bars
Racing Beat street springs (not installed)
Fresh Toyo Proxes on Konig Helium wheels (bronze color)
Braided stainless brake lines
BSP low-profile headlights
Turn signal intakes
Cowl hood
Chrome fuel door lid
BSP LED 3rd brake light
Roadster and Eunos badges
Momo race steering wheel
Voodoo shift knob
Red leather shift boot
Aluminum trim rings on AC vents and gauges
The car runs good, well enough to pass wake county emissions. It averages
23mpg around town.
I'm asking $8k. The car is currently located in Cary, NC.

B SERIES MIKE!!!!!!
welcome to the "other side"
you will very much enjoy your "new" civic.
I finished 8th after pax at the last event I raced at with regular street tires and my little autox experience. I just wish I could be there to see you race in 2005!!
down here in PR things arent so good right now. The civic is making some weird noises like a piston is hitting a valve but its all my fault. Long story, next time I talk to you about the monster civic it will be fixed and forced fed so..... talk to you in a couple years... or possibly more
literally
ARGH!!! no autox in PR and dont have the money to race solo1 so all I can say is I wish I was still in VA

No no no... Get an STI engine and drivetrain. 300 hp, all-wheel drive in a civic! As soon as I win the lottery this is the mod I am doing to the Celica. Of course I have no idea what class that would put you in.

it stands for go home cause you cant race. I believe the rules on sm is that the swap has to be from the same manufacturer as the car.
Interesting idea though. I have seen (in the internet) a 4g63 with awd drivetrain in a hatchy like mine though. wonder how that thing moves, in a car that weighs half than the original refrigerator for car it came in
