i would like to get into auto x sometime, just not with my current car, any good cars that would could compete stock. preferably not too expensive. and btw, and auto x events soon, id like to come out and see one.

Get experiance on any car you own. That is what matters. Red_Top flat spotted one of his tires real badly at the last event. It was a junk tire so it didn't matter too much. That's the advantage of running a beater car/tires.

If you have a car that will pass tech, bring it. If you think you would like to do this, the sooner you start the sooner you will be doing well. I guarantee you will enjoy it. It is a blast.

that's what i started doing, just to get seat time. i'm currently running my puny motor and automatic. but it's just for experience now (although i really do get into competing). once i get my better motor and my 5 speed, all that experience will carry over, and i'll be glad i have it.

Make sure you dont have any loose supension parts/joints/anything that will clunk when they pull on the tire. Also make sure the battery has a metal tie down. No rope, bungee cords, etc.
