So who's going?

I think I might attend the March 27/28 sessions. Just gotta think about if I want a hotel. Its one hell of a haul for me.

You might ask on the VMSC forums if there would be anyone willing to let you spend the night at their place in Richmond. Not super-close but close enough. I haven't been to an Evo school yet, but the general sentiment is "bring cheap tires! or tires you are don't feel bad about killing/have a grudge against"

I'm thinking about doing the Phase II in March. It depends on the size of my upcoming tax return. I did the Phase I last summer, and it was sweet. Worth every one of my $200. Tim Aro and Jinx Jordan were the instructors, and they kicked ass. Tim is such a great driver and teacher it's scary. Jinx too. I happen to have my results in my desk here, and it looks like the car saw 22 runs total (instructors and student). It's a quick, low 30 second course for Phase I (always the same layout). So it's about 4 or 5 autocrosses worth of wear on your tires. Not too bad. They won't be ruined or anything.

I am going to the evolution school at VMSC.

There site is larger and speeds are higher from what I have heard. And what I figure, getting comfortable at speed is the most important thing you can learn.

The evo school doesn't use a lot a room. They have a predesigned course to teach specific things.
