I'm not gonna lie, there are quite a few of us who did drift on the streets in '99-01, but that was b/c there weren't any sanctioned events on the east coast until 2002. And even in 2002, there was only 2, one in WV and one in NC. Now there are events at least every other month, sometimes, more like every month, and if you dont object to driving then pretty much every other week between NJ and GA.
