Default DragVA road trips?

I was wondering if people on here ever get together and roadtrip through back roads. I was thinking along the lines of DragVA at Deals Gap. Is there any interest in something like this?

For anyone who doesnt know, Deal's Gap (the tail of the dragon) is in NC/TN. It is generally considered to be one of the nastiest roads in the US.

The Tennesse side is most popular, with 318 turns in 11 miles. Road has ~1100 feet in elevation change (between highest and lowest point.)

Deals is very far away. Every year we do at least one similar thing through similarly twisty roads of western VA (rte 56, rte 211, etc.) The next one is in October, the second annual Pumpkin Run:

Same idea, just not so far away. It's a blast.

This would be the dumbest thing ANYONE could ever do.

You get a bunch of non driving retarded 16 year olds in pos cars driving way to fast in an enviroment that they can't handle and you are just asking for trouble.

Just FYI there was only one person under 18 last time we held this event and we had no trouble. The videos from last year are a little extreme at times but who doesnt get the blood flowing and break some rules when in these conditions. Not saying it is right, we do not wish for anyone to get hurt or ruin their vehicles. These events are held to get those who love to drive out in one place at one time. There are no speed or time requirements so how you drive is up to you. You have just as much chance of getting in a wreck driving home from work. Come on out and see how much fun this is while supporting a great cause like the Toys for Tots.
