Autox Schools
why am i not suprised?
but to the op, you should look into "performance driving" schools, that might help, and what i know some of my friends do is go backroad driving, i.e- pungo runs, great practice for some real time twisty roads, but do it later at night with less chance of pedestrians

i only see other cars doing that once in a blue moon....
Pushing anything over 80% on most backroads is pretty dangerous in case a deer pops out or theres a random road hazard, up here anyway. I would recommend an autocross just so you know what 100% feels like. On backroads after you've reached a point in driving skill, the faster your car becomes with mods the higher the risk you take every time you run. I wouldn't worry about a school, have an instructor ride with you at your first event and you should be good.
nice triple post all4sr
just keep in mind guys this kid has been around autoX ALOT, apparently his dad wants him to get some real world experience first
oggy I think by the time VMSC season gets into full swing you should be good to go, the hardest thing is remembering where the course goes when you're out there
any "pointers" we might give your right now really won't mean much till you've been driving for a little bit and driven an autocorss yourself
it's quite different experience when it's you out there by yourself and not a ride along with yer dad
Hey have you been the one taking the pics for VMSC?
