YES! AutoX doesn't get cancelled for rain in the forecast, unlike lesser forms of motorsport. 
And, we might be ok...
Today: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 86. South wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
And, we might be ok...

Predictions were correct. No rain. ~43 drivers, 9+ runs each, 65+ second course. Fun day!

Hahaha oh well. Next time, c'mon out regardless.
A lot of people - myself included - think wet autocrosses are actually MORE fun and definitely better learning experiences. Unintentional drifting FTW :-)

August 3 at VMP for the second annual "doublecross" (two events in one, the course is run 3-4 times in each direction and each driver's best times are combined for an overall score):
