I'm in, not sure if I classed my car right or not, NXE? Upclassed from NXD. A6's (295 17's) Koni SA's with Strano Springs 1.2" lower and Offset bushings in the front upper Arms. I got +26 points. No power adder's other than K&N filter.

2000 WS6 base to start with.

 

Got it, you're in! Although the system may have messed up your email address - it was one letter off the one we had on file for you from earlier events - so I forwarded everything along to the earlier address just in case.

Anyway, WS6 base class is D plus 14 points (that's what the "**" in the classing document means.)

26 mod points on top of that would upclass you to the bottom of B (i.e. D plus 14 plus 26 = D plus 40 = bump up two classes.) 25 mod points would upclass you to the top of C (i.e. D plus 14 plus 25 = D plus 39 = bump up one class.) We can issue you a waiver for that one extra point so you can stay in C, but that needs to be requested in writing to me (nasa-x at get-fast.net)

Earlier letter in the alphabet = theoretically faster class (for A through H, at least.) You could bump down to E if you swapped in a V6.

Can't wait! definately like that track! Been around it many many laps in the time attack but only on street tires, will be hella fun with a lil more grip. Setting my bar high, considering the start/finish is postioned the same as last years circuitcross I want a 53.00 run .

 

What's a good pass on this course for a novice?

 

depends on the car really, generally if your under 70 seconds you're doing alright

I remember my first time doing this and all my times were in 80 second range, it was snowing however...
