Im debating if i should get ep3 seats for my DC or s2k seats.. I heard they sit higher than the stock ones now? and would they bolt right in or are there modifications needed.....I also have a DA, if i decide to put the ep3 seats on my DC would the seats from my DC fit on my DA

any advice would be great

 

ep3 seats with stock rails will fit but

-will sit higher than stock
-only two of the four seat bolts will screw in

-s2000 seats sit low
-do not recline forward like ep3s since there are no back seats, so fat passengers have to squeeze to get back there

You'll have to change out seat pans/rails, but it's not difficult to do.

 

I would not call that 'fitting'. I tried putting them into an EG once and ran into the same issue. With some custom rail work, they will fit. But like the other user pointed out, you'll be sitting a lot higher.

 

so just put my dc rails and pan and replace the s2k ones?

 

yes ... its very easy to do and after your done you will be able to flip the seats foward just like your stockers so u can load the backseat with whatever you choose

don't forget ep3 are comfy also

 

yeah they are..suppose to trade my 91 DA gs leathers for em...but watu know..we aint got no time to do some custom mounting.....his ep3 fits on my DA but my rails is way off on his 00 civic si
