E85 fuel results. 707AWHP / 620AWTQ
3.0L, turbos that are a touch smaller than Garrett 3076's, stock heads, stock cams, etc... not a whole lot done to the car.

Sadly, there's only one E85 station in Virginia.
CITGO - Pentagon (Navy Exchange)
801 S Joyce Street
Arlington, VA
There are 15 stations in North Carolina though, so hopefully we will see some stations in the hampton roads area soon.
The stuff is priced lower than 87oct gas... I want some.

That's from the government subsidy on ethanol. Thats your tax dollars at work to lower the price of the fuel that you buy. I'd rather just have lower taxes, but I'm not going to launch into a political tirade..
Fuel economy will go down by 25-40% using E85 (lower energy density than gas), so as long as it's 25-40% cheaper than whatever 105 octane gas you're using now...
It is really nice for the octane benefits though, but I really wouldn't want to buy enough to use in a 700HP engine. That's a LOT of fuel volume. It is the nice alternative to having to source and buy race gas though, and I'm sure you'd still come out ahead price-wise based on the price of race gas.
As long as the fuel lines, gas tank, fuel pump, filter, fuel rail, etc., can handle the corrosion (forget about aluminum fuel system parts), and you have a fuel pump that can handle the electrical conductivity of ethanol, you're set. Bigger injectors aren't really a problem, you're going to have those already so it's just as easy to size them 40% bigger than normal.

Those are some nice results for sure; especially looking at what is into it.
I sell 160lb/hr (1680cc!) low Z injectors every day to people around the country moving to e85 and when I have enough time, I get to endulge them and let them talk about their cars
A hardcore street racer with an old chevelle, 500ci built out the weiner engine, and home built twin t6 flanged 88mm turbo setup called on Monday. The guy was nuts, he dyno'd in the middle of the night under non-disclosure agreement in some un-named large shop, and tanked the 2K HP wheel dyno. The car is tubbed and had cement bags in the trunk on the rollers. I know he wasn't BS-ing; he bought 16 (!) of those 160lb injectors to go into the latest and greatest build. Crazy. All of this is on E85.
