Wont Rev past 3000 HELP!!!
after 2 months of trying and trying i finally got a good LS motor not a blown one and i got it started in my crx but now it wont rev over 3000 i think its the dizzy or mabey the throttle body

yeah it seems to be you see the throttle body was taken off a running car but it may have got damaged during the swap the dizzy i got from pick and pull and it was a obd1 dizzy

check for codes. make sure all the wire connections to the dizzy are good, and check to see if the internals of the dizzy are tight. if you butt connected the harness to the distributor, you should probably rewire with solder this time

no there all sodered the only code its throwing is crank angle sensor but it shouldnt make it not rev over 3000 im trying to fix the reving problemthen ill fix the crank angle sensor any other things that can make a car not rev over 3000rpm

it will run in limp mode if it has a bad crank sensor. Actualy suprised it will stay running. But when it runs in limp mode it will not rev past about 3000 rpm. Good luck.
