D16A1 from a 1986-1987 Integra

Will it bolt right into a 1991 Honda Civic HB ????

or would I need to get the D16A3 from the 1988-1991 Integra

Hatchback is the DX model use to have the D15B7 in it.

No it will not bolt up you need a 88-91 ZC motor, to drop right in. And integras had B18a1's in them from 90-93. You will need a mount kit for that.

I know the ZC's blot right in , but, I wanna do the old style LS/RS from the 86-87 integra and from what Im told theres a few rare models made that had the side mounts, and not front for the motor, if I got the motor with the side mount, then it will bolt in, I just need to comfirm this before I get the motor.

Im a D-series fan Its not like I aint got the money i got enough to get atleast 3 B16As' just choose to stick with the D-series for some reason.

But you should go with the b18a. Its an easy swap into your car.

thanks for the info people, ive decided to go with another D16 just newer 1998. I decided to fully build it and turbo it. thanks though for all the info and yeah the 89 integra motor will bolt into a 88-91 hatch/crx, all you have to do is where the side motor mount is the 89 ls has the ac compressor bracket, you remove the bracket, and put the mount in its place.
