Default Will this fit.... ?

I didn't know where to create this kind of thread, but this seems to be a right place. So here's mine question : will the E36 M3 engine (3.2L I6) fit into MK4 Jetta ??

The most accurate answer you will get since you bothered to neither search nor do any legwork to find out for yourself.

well actually I think it will fit too, but i went to vwvortex, it's like a vw enthusiast site, they said I6 is way too big for MK4 body, I don't understand why ! i saw an old bimmer e30 with e34 M5 engine and it still has plenty of room, i just don't believe that MK4 don't have enough room for it. do you guys know any good swap store in va beach area that i can call and find out it will or won't fit ?

It can be made to fit, but would require extensive chassis fabrication. And I mean EXTENSIVE!!!

Maybe with enough firewall modification, and rerouting everything underneath to clear out the tunnel for a driveshaft. But a Jetta? Why?
