Default What is this plug? Back of Gauge Cluster.

The Gauge Cluster and Plug came from a 99 Civic Si

Ok I have a pic of it below of the plug and the colors of the wires. It is normally found in the bottom right area of the gauge cluster if you are looking at the back of it strait on. It is usually right next to a small yellow plug about the same size. I need to know what it is and if I need to hook it up to anything?

it could be for cruise control...but then again, probably not, because i dont think my cluster i swapped in had a green plug. or maybe i had a green plug and no yellow plug.

to the best of my knowledge, its for the tach or cruise control.

your best bet would be to install it and see what doesnt work, and figure it out from there. unless theres someone that can give you a direct answer. but installing it takes all of 5 minutes...so i would try that first.

Yeah i put it into my dx hatch and the tach works i dont have cruise to test that theory. but the gauge cluster doesnt have a cruise light on it. i have checked. Any one else?

Everything works to my knowledge unless i am missing something. Was there a OEM shift up light?

no, there was no shift light. and if the cluster came from a 99 si, it should have had cruise control. it would be the left space, when facing the front of the cluster, to the left of the speedo. but if you installed everything, and the tach/speedo/temp/gas gauges work, and all of your illumination works, then youre straight. you shouldnt need to plug.

the space to the bottom left of the speedo in this picture is the cruise control light. if you have it on there, but put the cluster in a dx (like i did), just use your stock dx bezel.
