2 weeks ago i was at manassas racing a SRT4 neon and my shit poped out of gear and then the same night on the way home my shifter started feeling VERY weird... so i was like shit i gotta get this home... well about 5 min more go by and then i hear click click smack and herd some stuff his the road.. and at that moment.... I had no shifter and the shifter could go any where and any motion with out touching a gear... so i was like damn it..
next thing i knew i was payen for a flat bed tow truck to tow my car to my house and today i got a chance to look at it and this is what i find.





Shifter bushing- Ragged out cracked, sloppy.
Shifter bolt that connects the shifter to the linkage "missing" along with the nut thats holds it up.

tomm = Nissan parts dept. so i can fix my car.

I have a 90 TT I'm going to be doing some tranny work on, Nissan transmissions seem to have issues. I'm a nissan guy and I'm stickin to it.

na the nissan trans is good.... its just... things come apart.

well i just started workin on putting that bolt back through so then the linkage would be hooked up to the shifter... "damn i dident think it was gonna be this hard" "thread the bolt through the shifter and "U" gold bracket for the linkage and be done.."

Yea B.S ... U have no room for ur hands and i can get the bolt through one side but the other side it dosent wanna go... im starten to get REAL pissed!

Next post will hopefully me sayin its fixed..

Well my car is fixed!!.......... i can drive it again...... now to install some new things.. "sub frame spacers" to get rid of the wheel hop.
