just do a compression and leakdown test.

that will answer all of your questions.

yep, sounds like a blown head gasket if you get the lucky way out. just had to replace mine this weekend. lifted the head with a 30psi + boost spike head studs on the way.

head might be warped, blown head gasket

If the head is only warped .001's of a inch the compression may not be affected.

You can do a leak test, but a magna-fluxed is alot better.
