Default water leak inside car

every time it rains i get a puddle in my back seat on driver side and in the front on the driver side. i lifted up my carpet under the foot pedals and the foam padden was blk.on the left and it looked pretty badf just on the bottom. i don't know where it's coming from. does the rubber piece under the carpet come out. i see that it connects to the other side and goes under neath the center console....if anyone has helpful advice...post what you know....don't feel like replacing the whole carpet....thanx

I had a similar problem with a CRX, my problem was the windshield was leaking and running down behind the dash, had to pull the carpet up and wait till it rained to find the problem. Hope this helps. By the way I'm parting out a 93 dx if you find the problem and need parts.
