vw mk2 gti - no start, turns over, has spark and fuel.
Have a 89 mk2 golf gti with the 16v motor. Was running before so I assume the compression is good and everything, I'm sure ok fucking up somewhere and missed a connector or something.
Stripped it out and put everything back together and it won't start. It turns over, has spark, dizzy timing is correct, and has fuel to the metering head. Only thing is I've got the belt to the alt. Off right now, but ill be putting that back on today.
If anyone is familiar with these motors, are there any common things that I might miss when Putting it back together?
Or if you've worked on a 16v before, are near ODU campus and want some cash and a case of beer to come by and check it out, I'm down for that too.
