Default VTEC question??

hey va, my VTEC has like a brain of it's on sometimes it kicks in and then again sometimes it doesn't. And then sometimes it sputters, but my boost always kicks in. i really don't understand whats going any ideas?????SIZE=3]LET ME KNOW!!![/SIZE]

yes first you need to learn to spell it and what it stands for, then, take the solenoid off and check for buildup on the filter it could be real dirty, check for proper voltage to the pressure switch and solenoid, make sure your oil is full and your getting enough oil pressure into the switch, if non of that is the problem,get a new assembly.....
