vtec help, please
i have a 94 civic coupe with a jdm h22, vtec does not work all the time, when it does come in it just makes the noise car does not pull like it should, check engine light comes on and car is very hesitant, any help would be appreciated

Well you need to check your codes and see what codes the car is throwing.

also i would check your oil because vtec works on oil pressure.

there's your problem
most older cars don't have them. I took mine off. It's a pain to deal with...at least for the VW stuff it is. Then again, most VW stuff mechanical&electronics are a pain

a couple guys ive talked to said they didnt have their egr valves hooked up on h22 swaps? did an oil change and replaced spark plugs sunday morning
