Well my car wont turn over making a some what very loud clickin noise, comming from the starter area... so i am going to replace the starter, do any of you know where i can find the diagram/instructions other then me buyin a bently?? id rather pay someone to put the bitch on then buy a bently :P hit me up! Do your lights turn on? I think you should replace the battery, or at least test it before you try for a starter replacement.

 

yeah my lights come on... and when i go to turn it on its not a draggin noise its a clicking, we are gonna try to jump it tommorow ( its broke infront of my girls house ) so i have to wait til tommorow, if juicing up the battery doesnt help will take out the starter and have it tested... all the parts for my car are outrageously expensive so i wanna make sure im fixin the right thing haha... cheap ol advance starter is 215 bucks for my car... still like 160 something after core charge... damn dirty VW!!

i had a similiar problem in my eclipse . i think it was a wire that got knocked off of my starter i duno. check out your starter before you buy a new one.
