VR6 VW engine vs. Mitsu. 3000gt engine
I was told today that they are essentially the same engine...And I would like to know, if it is possible to do a swap from a mitsu to a vr without too many modifications
The vr6 is based on 15 degree banking and the pistons are interlaced to save space. With this combination it allows alot of low end torque of a straight 6 but the top end power of tradation v6? Correct me if im wrong vdub guys?
The 6g72. Is true v6. 60 degree banking? You can surely put any motor in any car if given enough money and time.

When people talk about motors being "the same", they typically mean in terms of displacement, and style (inline, V, boxer). For instance, 4g63 vs Sr20. 2.0, i4cyl.
You're comparing a VR6 which isn't an I6 or a V6, to a V6..
