using stock obd2 injectors on obd1
hey anyone knows the different between stock injectors obd1 and 2. Well am using obd2 injectors on my obd1 setup cause that wat i have right now anybody can tell me anything about this lmk

I'm using OBD2 injectors with an OBD1 harness and just had to file a little bit of the injector clip down so it would click on. Thats all you would have to do if anything.

Because that's the On Board Diagnostic generation (OBD, get it?). This mostly has to do with emissions standards and the communication/diagnostic interface with the ECU. This really has nothing to do with sensors, injectors, coils, etc. which is why most of the stuff is the same. Changing the ECU and emissions stuff to a different generation is a convenient time for manufacturers to change whatever else they need to (or want to), which that is why some OBD1 parts are different than ODB2 parts.
It's a major hardware revision basically, but some stuff didn't need changing, like injectors.
Saying that they're OBD1 or OBD2 just refers to the OBD generation of whatever engine they came from.
