Default Type r compression numbers

Would you consider 215 210 210 215 good numbers for a jdm type r? or would you consider that low?

well, compression number are affected by many many things.
-if you do it with throttle open/closed
-motor cold/warm
-if your motor has valve seals leaking/not
-gauge brand even makes a difference

All in all the most important thing about a compression test is the continuity across all cylinders. 10-15 variance is ok. more than that is worth continuing onto a leakdown test.

I'd seen something like that also.... I think its what they're at when they're brand new...

I always saw a little more than that even on my GSR... but like others have said, there's lots of variables to explain it...
